INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup buttermilk powder see notes
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • tablespoons onion powder
  • teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Combine ½ cup buttermilk powder , 2 tablespoons dried parsley, 1 tablespoon dried chives, 1½ tablespoons onion powder, 1½ teaspoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoon dried dill, 1 teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon ground pepper in a small bowl and mix together.
  • If you want it to have a finer consistency, grind it in your food processor.
  • Use according to recipe directions.

NOTES

  • What Can I Substitute For Powdered Buttermilk? You can swap out powdered buttermilk for powdered milk just keep in mind it may alter the taste a little bit.
  • Dairy-Free: You can omit the buttermilk powder entirely for a dairy-free version.
  • Spice It Up! To add a kick of heat, try adding in a bit of cayenne pepper and/or dried chili.
  • How To Store: Store in an airtight jar for several months.
  • How To Make Ranch Dressing
    • 2 tablespoons of this ranch seasoning mix
    • 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 1/2 cup buttermilk
    • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
      • Whisk together the ingredients and then refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
