Breakfast Bagel Sliders Ingredients

With simple ingredients, these Breakfast Bagel Sliders will be your next favorite prep-ahead way to start your day!

  • Bagels- This recipe requires plain bagels.
  • Eggs- Scrambled eggs are needed to make these sliders. Feel free to add any seasonings you’d like, and cook them to your liking!
  • Cheese- We used cheddar cheese for this recipe.
  • Bacon- Are you a bacon or sausage breakfast person? I’m a bacon person!
  • Butter- We use melted butter to top the bagels before they’re baked, to create a crisp exterior.
  • Garlic powder- Used for seasoning the butter.
  • Onion powder- Also used to season the butter.

Variations And Substitutions

  • Swap plain bagels for your favorite flavor. Everything, cheddar, onion, even cinnamon raisin!
  • Any flavor of cheese may be used. Monterey Jack would be yummy, or add some heat by using Pepperjack cheese.
  • Bacon can be swapped for sausage, ham, or even your favorite meatless alternative.
  • The eggs can be made fried rather than scrambled if desired.
  • Use any seasonings for the butter mixture. We use onion and garlic powder, but this is where you can be really creative!

How To Make Breakfast Bagel Sliders

Step One: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and spray a non stick baking dish with cooking spray.

Step Two: Place the bottom of each bagel flat across your baking dish in a single layer, being careful not to overlap the bagels. Top each of the bagel bottoms with a layer of egg, cheese, and bacon.

Step Three: Add the bagel tops on each slider.

Step Four: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, onion powder, and garlic powder. Use a silicone brush to spread the melted butter mixture across each bagel.

Step Five: Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until the tops are slightly crispy and the cheese is melted. Enjoy!

Tips And Tricks

  • These Breakfast Bagel Sliders are best served warm. You can reheat them by putting them in the oven at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted, or you can reheat in the microwave in 30-second increments until it has reheated to your desired temperature.
  • This recipe is a great meal prep option for breakfast! Make them on a Sunday, freeze/refrigerate them throughout the week, and reheat them when you’re ready to enjoy them. We recommend wrapping any leftovers individually in foil before storing them.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
