Why Air Fry?
Air-frying your hot dogs can ensure they all come out hot and ready at the same time, without having to get out the grill, put a pan on the stove, or even start a campfire! Yes, the campfire is nostalgic, but you can’t always rely on having one handy!
Not only are Air Fryer Hot Dogs convenient, but the hot air circulating around them gives them a crispy outer layer while keeping the insides juicy and delicious! The buns get warm and fluffy while getting a light crisp on them!

How Do I Store Air Fryer Hot Dogs?
Store your leftover hot dogs in an air-tight container in your refrigerator for up to three days.
Tips And Tricks
- Be sure to score the hot dogs with a knife before you air fry them so they cook evenly and don’t burst open in the air fryer. This also allows toppings to seep into the hot dogs, creating a perfect bite each time!
- Don’t worry about greasing the air fryer tray before you cook. The hot dogs won’t stick to the tray, but you can use an air fryer liner if you’d like.
- This recipe works for hot dogs, brats, and even sausage links. The timing may need to be adjusted based on the thickness of the brats or sausage.

INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.

NOTES
- Make sure to score the hot dogs by cutting small slits across. This will help it to heat more evenly, help prevent the casing from bursting or tearing, and also allows condiments to seep through the slits.
- You don’t have to grease or spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. The hot dogs do not stick to it. You can use a disposable liner for easier cleanup if desired.
- Use your favorite brand of hot dogs, brats, or links.
- Switch up the buns to your liking. Pretzel buns, Hawaiian buns, wheat buns, sourdough buns, or classic buns are all great options.
