All About This Copycat Taco Bell Quesadilla Sauce
If you’ve ever had a quesadilla from Taco Bell, then you already know this sauce’s creamy texture perfectly complements the melted cheese and grilled tortillas. From its creamy texture to its spicy and zesty flavors, this sauce hits the spot every time!
The creamy base provides a smooth texture that coats each bite, while the tanginess adds a refreshing zing that cuts through the cheese’s richness. The subtle heat from the spices adds an additional kick without overpowering the other flavors, leaving you with a satisfying taste that keeps you coming back for more!
How To Make Copycat Taco Bell Quesadilla Sauce
You know I love a simple recipe, and this one COULDN’T be any easier! All you have to do is put all of your ingredients into a bowl, whisk it together, and you’ve got yourself some Taco Bell Quesadilla Sauce!
Once it’s made, you can drizzle it, dip it, dunk it, spread it, or store it! If I’m planning on drizzling my sauce, I put it right into a squeeze bottle and store it in my fridge with my other condiments!
Kick Up The Heat!
If this recipe just ISN’T spicy enough for you, we can fix that! My husband is also a heat seeker, so I get it. All you have to do is add some extra cayenne pepper or jalapenos! It really just depends on which flavor you’d like to bring out more. If you’re feeling extra spicy, add both!
How To Store Copycat Taco Bell Quesadilla Sauce
Store this sauce in an air tight container in the fridge for 5-7 days. If you don’t think you’ll go through 1 1/2 cups of sauce in a week, feel free to cut the recipe in half. I wouldn’t recommend freezing any left over sauce.
Should I Make This Recipe Ahead Of Time?
While you can enjoy this sauce as soon as you make it, I actually prefer to make it about an hour before I want to! By letting the sauce sit, the flavors have more time to marinate and soak up each other’s goodness. If you’re looking to enjoy it immediately, it will still taste great!
How Do I Serve This Sauce?
Oh the possibilities! This sauce is PERFECT for Mexican food, but it’s also phenomenal on burgers, sandwiches, and even with french fries dipped in it! Tacos, Quesadillas (it’s in the name of the sauce!), burritos, drizzled atop of nachos, the possibilities are endless! Any time you’re looking to amplify the heat in your dish, I highly recommend making this sauce! My personal favorite way to serve this sauce is by dunking my Air Fryer Chipotle Chimichangas right into it!
