This easy-to-make Frito Chili Pie gives you a nice crunch from the Frito Corn Chips while still giving your all of your favorite chili tastes in the seasoned ground beef, beans, and of course, your favorite chili toppings!

This Frito Pie Casserole is a great dish to enjoy on cool, crisp days, when you have guests coming over, or when you need something quick and delicious to whip up for dinner! Whatever your reason for making it, the best part is that you won’t hear any complaints from anyone about it since it’s SO GOOD!

Begin making this Frito Chili Pie Recipe by combining ground beef with onion and garlic. Afterward, you’ll add kidney beans, tomato paste, Rotel, chili powder, salt, sugar, and cumin.

Once the chili has finished simmering, you’ll serve it over Frito Corn Chips and sprinkle it with shredded cheddar cheese! Then all that’s left to do is finish your plate off with your favorite toppings!

How To Make Frito Chili Pie

  1. Brown the ground beef, onion, and garlic in a large skillet or pot over medium heat. Then drain the excess fat from the pan.
  2. Stir in kidney beans, tomato paste, Rotel, chili powder, salt, sugar, and cumin.
  3. Simmer the mixture uncovered after reducing the heat to medium-low.
  4. Pour a bag of Fritos onto a serving dish or individual plates for each person.
  5. Scoop the chili over the Frito chips, sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, and top with additional toppings if desired!

Busy Family Tip: Want to make this Frito Chili Pie more like a pie? Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and coat a 9×13-inch pan with nonstick spray. Unroll a can on crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the pan, then top with the chili and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with the cheese then the corn chips and bake for another 5 to minutes.

  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 (9.25oz.) bag Fritos corn chips
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a large skillet or pot, brown the ground beef, onion, and garlic at medium heat. Drain excess fat.
