Starbucks Copycat S’mores Frappuccino Ingredients

S’mores Frappuccinos can be very cost-effective, requiring only a few ingredients to make multiple drinks. Once you have all of the ingredients on hand, you can make these drinks for weeks to come!

  • Coffee– Brew your favorite and allow to cool for at least one hour before your make this recipe.
  • Vanilla creamer– Use any brand or type you’d like, or make your own!
  • Sugar– This is optional.
  • Heavy cream– Use heavy cream rather than whipped cream in a can.
  • Marshmallow cream– Any type works.
  • Ice– This will be crushed, so no need to use a fancy ice cube tray.
  • Hot fudge– Do not warm the hot fudge. Keep it room temperature.
  • Graham cracker crumbs– You can crumble your own if you don’t have crumbs on hand.

Variations and Substitutions

  • You can make your graham cracker crumbs by putting whole graham crackers in a food processor or in a ziplock bag and crushing them with a rolling pin or heavy object.
  • Hot fudge can be substituted for chocolate syrup, but keep in mind the syrup is more on the runny side, and hot fudge is thicker. The hot fudge holds to the side of the cup better.
  • Vanilla creamer is used in this recipe, but marshmallow flavored can be used if you’re able to find it for an extra bit of flavor.
  • Brew your favorite coffee for the best results!
  • Sprinkle some mini marshmallows on top, if you’d like!

How To Make Starbucks Copycat S’mores Frappuccino

Step One: In a medium or large cup, whisk together the chilled coffee, vanilla creamer, and sugar, and set aside. In a small bowl, using an electric mixer, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold in the marshmallow cream, then pour into a ziplock bag. Set aside.

Step Two: Add the hot fudge, NOT WARMED, into a ziplock bag. Cut a corner of the ziplock bag, and drizzle the fudge inside the cup you will be drinking out of. Take the marshmallow cream mixture from earlier, cut a slightly larger corner of the ziplock bag, and pipe about an inch of marshmallow cream into the bottom of the cup. Set aside.

Step Three: Add the coffee from step one into a blender along with the ice. Blend until the ice is crushed and completely combined with the coffee mixture. Pour the frozen coffee into your cup.

A Texture Tip For Starbucks Copycat S’mores Frappuccino

To create the best texture for your Starbucks Copycat S’mores Frappuccino, blend the coffee with the ice EXTREMELY WELL to avoid large ice chunks in your drink. The smoother the frozen coffee, the better the texture.

Step Four: Top the frozen coffee with more marshmallow cream, a drizzle of chocolate syrup, and a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs. Serve and enjoy!

FAQ’s

Do I need an expensive blender to make this?

No, you don’t need an expensive one. Any blender will do!

Can I make this recipe sugar-free?

Yes, you can. You can also substitute sugar for your favorite sweetener alternative.

Can I prep these ahead of time?

Yes and no. The ingredients can be prepared ahead, but when it comes to the entire drink assembly, I recommend waiting until you’re ready to enjoy the frappuccino before making it. For example, the coffee/creamer/sugar mixture can be prepared up to 3 days ahead of time, but do not combine the coffee mixture with ice until you’re ready to enjoy.

How do I store S’mores Frappuccinos?

Due to the nature of frappuccinos, they are pretty tricky to store correctly after making them. You can stick them in the freezer, although the texture will change drastically and freeze your beverage, or if you place it in the refrigerator, it will likely melt before you’re ready to enjoy it again. I recommend only making the amount of S’mores Frappuccinos you’d drink at one time.

Can I use cold brew or iced coffee instead of brewing my own coffee?

Yes! Use your favorite type of coffee, as long as it is chilled, before assembling the S’mores Frappuccino.

Can I make this drink in large batches?

Yes, multiply the ingredients by the drinks you’d like to make. For example, for 4 drinks, multiply ingredients by 4. For 10 drinks, multiply ingredients by 10.
